Housing & Shelter

Programs

Victory Center Shelter Programs:

Our Men's Shelter -

Homelessness, addictions, and domestic abuse are images that evoke negative thoughts, but homelessness is not just a man sitting under a bridge or a park bench. Homelessness, addictions and domestic abuse now strike every facet of life....every religion, ethnicity, and culture. Simply giving people jobs and housing cannot cure these problems and solving their financial problems isn't always the answer either!

Our men's shelter program is not the answer to life's problems but it is a starting point to aim individuals towards the one source of help that will give answers to all life's problems and that lasting impact that comes only from God!

Our Women & Children's Shelter -

More than 218,000 women are homeless on any given night in the United States. Women without housing face unique health challenges and outcomes that require specific types of care and support. Especially since, domestic and sexual violence are the leading causes of homelessness among women.

Our women's & children's shelter provides emotional support, consistent routine, employment support, Christian counseling and case management! Again, our women and children's shelter program is not the answer to life's problems but it is a starting point to aim individuals towards the one source of help that will give answers to all life's problems and that lasting impact that comes only from God!

Clinton Community Public Housing & Rapid Re-Housing Programs:

Clinton County Public Housing is run through the Clinton County Housing Authority - Clinton Housing Authority is a housing authority that participates in the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), and Public Housing programs.

Clinton County Rapid Re-housing is a solution to homelessness designed to help individuals and families to quickly exit homelessness and return to permanent housing. It is offered without preconditions (such as employment, income, absence of criminal record, or sobriety) and the resources and services provided are typically tailored to the unique needs of the household.

Financial assistance may be available to eligible clients to assist with deposit and rent. Individuals in the Rapid Re-Housing program work with a housing case manager to secure, maintain, or increase their income and access mainstream resources with a goal of housing stability after the program ends.
